2002-11-06, Life Building Ministries - EVANGELIST JAMEY RAGLE HOLDS REACH THE PLANET TOUR AT US MILITARY INSTALLATION AND CHURCHES IN JAPAN One of the Most Sought-After and Effective Evangelists Will Minister to the US Seventh Fleet, Naval Forces and local community in Yokosuka, Japan CINCINNATI, OH – November 25, 2002 – Jamey Ragle, an evangelist committed to changing lives and glorifying God, will be holding a “Reach the Plant” Crusade on December 6 – 16, 2002 in Yokosuka, Japan. Sponsored by the Command Religious Ministry Team from the USS COWPENS (CG-63), the crusade will be held throughout Yokosuka, Japan to the servicemembers, their families and youth of the U.S. Seventh Fleet and Naval Forces in Japan. This powerful crusade will share Christ with American servicemen and woman, as well as Japanese locals. “God has blessed us with this unique opportunity to minister to the brave defenders of world peace serving in Japan and I am very excited to connect with the men and women of our military who need encouragement, inspiration and even laughs, during their deployment,” said Jamey Ragle. SHC Robert Humphries, the USS COWPENS Baptist Lay Leader, and LT. Ronald Pettigrew, the USS COWPENS Command Chaplain, invited Jamey to Japan. “We’re delighted to host Jamey Ragle in Japan. The USS COWPENS is the Seventeenth Ticonderoga - Class Aegis Guided Missile Cruiser. COWPENS serves as part of the Forward Deployed Naval Forces in Yokosuka, Japan, as part of Battle Force Seventh Fleet.
