Fifth International Kabbalah Congress Hosts Largest Seder in Israel

2005-04-22, Bnei Baruch World Center For Kabbalah Studies - Bnei Baruch, a non-profit organization spreading the wisdom of Kabbalah, is proud to announce its Spring Congress taking place at Kfar Sitrin in Haifa, throughout the week of April 22-30, that will be hosting some 1500 students from over 24 countries. Many public figures are expected to participate such as well-known artists, spiritual and academic figures, along with additional guests who will take part in the largest Passover Seder held in Israel, seminars, lessons, and special cultural events.Haifa, Israel (PRWEB) April 22, 2005 -- Bnei Baruch, a non-profit organization spreading the wisdom of Kabbalah, is proud to announce its Spring Congress taking place at Kfar Sitrin in Haifa, throughout the week of April 22-30, that will be hosting some 1500 students from over 24 countries including the US, Mexico, Germany, Columbia, France, Spain, Italy, UK, Australia, Russia, Lithuania, Austria, Ukraine, Brazil, Canada, Turkey and more.
Many public figures are expected to participate throughout the week of the congress such as well-known artists, spiritual and academic figures, along with additional guests who will take part in the largest Passover Seder held in Israel, seminars, lessons, and special cultural events.
The peak of the congress is a gala event that will take place on April 27th. Beginning at 6:00pm with a special lecture from Rav Laitman, at 8:00pm a festive dinner will be served. Distinguished guests joining the festivities include Israel’s Ambassador to El-Salvador, the Ambassador of Mexico, and the Ambassador of Costa Rica.
The cultural part of the evening will include a special appearance by award-winning actor Sasha Dimidov of “Gesher” theater who will perform selected scenes from his new play “Pulsa Venora”, currently running at the Tsavta Theater in Tel Aviv. Dimidov has been studying under Laitman for fourteen years.
Additional celebrity appearances will include a special performance by Israel singer of the year, Arkadi Duchin in his new show. (http://www.arkadi-music.com)

In a recent event in San Francisco, scientists Fred Alan Wolf, PhD, William Tiller, PhD, and Jeffrey Satinover, M.D., from the feature film What The Bleep Do We Know?, met up with foremost Kabbalist Michael Laitman in a panel discussion called, Quantum Physics and Theology Meet Kabbalah – the long hidden science of the how and why of reality. The meeting took place on March 22 at the Jewish Community Center in San Francisco, and was attended by 500. The scientists recognised Kabbalah as a science able to solve today`s crisis. They also expressed their belief that Rav Laitman offers an authentic Kabbalah teaching.
Bnei Baruch was featured last week in Yediot, one of Israel’s leading publications, regarding local cable company hot commencing broadcasts of live kabbalah lessons from Rav Laitman`s Bnei Baruch center in Petach Tikva, which will be featured on the Karma channel at 3:00am. It appears that this will make Israel the first country in the world to broadcast live kabbalah lessons on TV. Rav Laitman is a regular on Shmuel Viloznia`s television program, "Mekubal Alay" (Hebrew for "It`s OK with me"; mekubal also means a kabbalist).

Michael Laitman received his Ph.D. in philosophy and Kabbalah from the Moscow Academy of Sciences, and his MSc from St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University in the faculty of Biological Medical Cybernetics. Laitman has earned himself the reputation of an authority in Kabbalah through the twenty-two books on Kabbalah that he has published in his twenty-five years of teaching Kabbalah according to the method handed down to him from Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag, author of the authoritative Sulam Commentary on the Zohar. Being a scientist as well as a Kabbalist, Laitman has always sought to provide a coherent presentation of the true nature of Kabbalah.
